Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Senior / Team Leader – Children's Residential to join established children’s residential services across the North West. This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of £14.85 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in, with typical earnings of approximately £38,028 per annum based on around 10 sleep-ins per month.

As a Senior / Team Leader – Children's Residential, you will be at the heart of the home's leadership team, supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality care for young people. Your leadership and nurturing approach will ensure children and young people feel secure, valued, and supported to develop. Fulfilling this role provides an excellent step forward for those looking to advance their career within children's residential care.

Candidate Responsibilities – Senior / Team Leader – Children's Residential

• Lead and support the residential team during shifts, acting as a positive role model
• Build trust and meaningful relationships with children and young people
• Support young people with emotional, behavioural, and social needs
• Promote positive behaviour and manage challenging situations effectively
• Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and placement plans
• Maintain accurate records and daily documentation
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Mentor and develop team members through induction and ongoing support
• Collaborate closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
• Take responsibility for high standards of care, compliance, and practice within the home
• Step into a leadership position, supporting the team and managing the home when needed
