About the Role Camden Council’s Adults and Health Directorate is seeking an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to provide cover while permanent recruitment is in progress.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference within a dynamic and supportive mental health service. You will be responsible for providing care coordination for complex cases under the Care Programme Approach (CPA), delivering holistic, person-centred assessments, and supporting adults with psychosis and complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake care coordination of complex cases under CPA.
- Develop co-produced care plans with service users and carers.
- Complete holistic Care Act assessments and reviews.
- Manage risk and safeguard adults in line with statutory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with in-patient units, carers, voluntary organisations, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports.
- Promote strengths-based and recovery-focused practice.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience working with adults experiencing psychosis and complex needs.
- Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Safeguarding Adults procedures.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively, manage competing demands, and maintain professional standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse service users and multi-disciplinary teams.
