🌈 About the role As a Social Worker, you’ll:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families using the Signs of Safety practice model.
- Manage a varied caseload, completing assessments and delivering effective child in need or child protection plans.
- Champion children’s voices, ensuring their lived experiences and wishes are central to decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and partner agencies to create safe, lasting change.
- Prepare high-quality reports for meetings and court proceedings, always reflecting the needs and strengths of the child.
- Reflect, learn, and grow through regular supervision and continuous professional development.
- Qualified and registered with Social Work England.
- Skilled at relationship- and strengths-based practice.
- Experienced in working with children and families where statutory intervention is required.
- Committed to safeguarding, reflection, and professional growth.
- Resilient, empathetic, and ready to make a lasting difference.
