Safeguarding Social Worker
Location: Tameside Council
Contract: Permanent, 6-Month Fixed-Term or 12-Month Fixed-Term
Pay: £37,280 to £42,839

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for experienced Safeguarding Social Workers to join Tameside Council's Neighbourhood Social Work Service.

This role involves child protection planning, public and private law proceedings, and working with children and families to achieve positive outcomes. Tameside is looking for motivated practitioners who are passionate about relationship-based practice and keeping children at the heart of decision-making.

You will benefit from experienced management support and a stable senior leadership team committed to developing and supporting Social Workers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' post-qualifying Social Work experience
• Experience in child protection and court work
• Social Work England registration
• Strong assessment, safeguarding and relationship-building skills
