Description
Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a leading clinician-led neurodevelopmental service to recruit a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner – Social Worker to join its growing multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people through NHS-funded and private pathways. The role combines remote developmental history interviews with face-to-face assessment activity and collaborative MDT discussions.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
- Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
- Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians where required
- Produce accurate clinical reports and diagnostic formulations, supported by digital tools
- Deliver clinical supervision where applicable
- Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments where required
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
- HCPC – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist
- NMC – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse
- GMC – Medical Practitioners
- Social Work England – Social Worker
- At least 1 year’s experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
- Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
