Adult Social Worker – Review Team
Location: Hybrid working – London Borough of Hackney
Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate: £32 per hour (Umbrella) (£26 PAYE)
Contract: Initially 3 months - Potential to be extended after this time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of Hackney Council for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Review Team on a hybrid working basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated team supporting Hackney residents by ensuring that care and support arrangements remain appropriate, effective, and in line with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete statutory and unscheduled reviews for Hackney residents receiving adult social care services.
• Ensure reviews are completed in accordance with relevant legislation and local authority procedures.
• Assess whether current care and support arrangements continue to meet the needs and outcomes of service users.
• Undertake any work associated with the review process, including safeguarding enquiries where required.
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working within Adult Social Care in a local authority setting.
• Strong understanding of Care Act duties, safeguarding processes, and statutory review responsibilities.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work both independently and as part of a team.
