Adult Social Worker – Review Team
Location: Hybrid working – London Borough of Hackney
Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate: £32 per hour (Umbrella) (£26 PAYE)
Contract: Initially 3 months - Potential to be extended after this time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of Hackney Council for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Review Team on a hybrid working basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated team supporting Hackney residents by ensuring that care and support arrangements remain appropriate, effective, and in line with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete statutory and unscheduled reviews for Hackney residents receiving adult social care services.
- Ensure reviews are completed in accordance with relevant legislation and local authority procedures.
- Assess whether current care and support arrangements continue to meet the needs and outcomes of service users.
- Undertake any work associated with the review process, including safeguarding enquiries where required.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure person-centred outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care in a local authority setting.
- Strong understanding of Care Act duties, safeguarding processes, and statutory review responsibilities.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive rate of £32 per hour (Umbrella)
