Social Workers Wanted – Be Part of Salford's Transformation JourneyService Care Solutions are currently recruiting experienced Adult Social Workers to join Salford's Adult Social Care services during an exciting period of transformation.

Salford is continuing its journey towards a fully integrated health and social care system, with opportunities available across Neighbourhood Teams, Learning Disability Teams and Transition Teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for Social Workers who are passionate about strengths-based, person-centred practice and want to play an important role in supporting adults to achieve positive outcomes and live as independently as possible.

The Role
As an Adult Social Worker in Salford, you will:

• Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews, ensuring individual needs are identified and appropriately supported.
• Carry out statutory duties in line with the Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation.
• Undertake and contribute to safeguarding enquiries and responsibilities.
• Promote independence, wellbeing, prevention and positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with individuals, families, communities and partner agencies.
• Develop creative, strengths-based approaches that build on an individual's existing networks and resources.
• Work closely with colleagues across health and social care as part of an integrated approach.
• Support adults to live safe, independent and fulfilling lives.
• Contribute positively to Salford's ongoing transformation programme.

About You
We are looking for experienced Social Workers who:

• Have experience working within Adult Social Care.
• Have knowledge and practical experience of the Care Act 2014.
• Have experience undertaking assessments, reviews and safeguarding work.
• Are confident working within a strengths-based and person-centred practice model.
• Can work effectively with partner agencies within an integrated health and social care environment.
• Are adaptable, proactive and comfortable working through periods of change and transformation.
• Have a genuine commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, with business use insurance.
