Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner – ADHD & Autism Norwich, Norfolk (Hybrid) | Permanent | Full-Time & Part-Time (Minimum 3 Days / 15 Hours per Week)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced clinician passionate about delivering high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments within a supportive multidisciplinary team?

We're looking for dedicated clinicians to join a growing specialist service delivering evidence-based ADHD and autism assessments for children and young people across NHS-funded and private pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a clinician-led organisation that prioritises clinical excellence, collaboration, and person-centred care.

The Role As a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality assessments and helping children, young people, and their families access timely, accurate diagnoses and appropriate support.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process
  • Completing remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers
  • Participating in MDT diagnostic discussions with support from senior clinicians where required
  • Providing clear, compassionate feedback to families
  • Producing high-quality clinical reports and diagnostic formulations using smart digital reporting tools
  • Managing your caseload effectively while meeting service KPIs
  • Delivering clinical supervision where appropriate
  • Travelling to the Norwich clinic for in-person assessments as part of a hybrid role
What We're Looking For Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of one year's professional registration with one of the following:
    • HCPC
    • NMC
    • GMC
    • Social Work England
  • At least one year's experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments for children and young people
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis within neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Experience using recognised assessment tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
  • Excellent report writing, communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
