Stock Condition Surveyor

A client within the Public Sector based in the East Midlands is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing asset management environment.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of the Council’s asset management strategy through the collection, analysis, and use of stock condition information, including stock condition and HHSRS surveys.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Conducting stock condition, HHSRS and related surveys across occupied and void properties, communal areas, garages and commercial buildings.
• Ensuring results of surveys are accurately recorded in the asset management system using handheld data capture equipment.
• Producing schedules of work and assisting in the preparation and monitoring of work programmes.
• Commissioning and overseeing specialist surveys and ensuring results are acted upon.
• Identifying and reporting defects, quality issues, tenancy issues and health and safety concerns.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require experience delivering stock condition surveys, knowledge of HHSRS, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience working within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment.
• Knowledge of building pathology and asset management systems.
• Ability to provide technical advice and produce reports, recommendations, and schedules.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £23.00 per hour PAYE).
