Job Advert – Support Worker (Day Service)

Location: Washington Community Resource Centre
Contract: 6 months (Fixed Term)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, working to ensure individuals receive the highest standards of care and support. Duties will include:

• Supporting with personal care and mobility.
• Assisting with meals and health needs.
• Promoting independence, confidence, and life skills.
• Working in a person-centred way to meet individual support plans.
• Building positive relationships with customers and their families.

Experience is not essential, but having training such as Moving & Assisting, First Aid, or Safe Handling of Medication is advantageous.

Requirements

• Two satisfactory references.
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check with Adults Barred List, completed within the last 12 months. Evidence will be requested following a successful offer. Please note: if you do not have this check, any offer made will be withdrawn.
