Candidate Responsibilities - Support Worker
As a Support Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate support to clients with mental health, learning disabilities, or complex needs
- Assisting clients with daily activities and personal care
- Implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Promoting independence and building rapport with clients
- Documenting all interactions accurately and maintaining confidentiality
- Working collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure the best outcomes for clients
- Responding to emergencies and ensuring safety at all times
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including unsociable hours
- Relevant qualifications or training (preferred but not essential)
