We are currently working with a well-established housing and support provider who is looking to appoint a Support Worker on a temporary ongoing basis in Exeter.
This is a frontline role supporting vulnerable customers within supported accommodation and/or through visiting support in the community. The post holder will play a key role in promoting independence, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for service users.

This is a frontline role supporting vulnerable customers within supported accommodation and/or through visiting support in the community. The post holder will play a key role in promoting independence, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to customers in line with individual support and safety plans
- Support customers with housing and tenancy-related issues, including ASB, welfare benefits, budgeting and financial inclusion
- Identify, manage and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to support customer journeys
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using relevant case management and housing systems
- Carry out risk assessments, lone working, and health & safety checks
- Support customers with practical and emotional needs, including access to education, employment and community engagement
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful service environment
- Experience or a strong understanding of working with people with support needs
- Knowledge of supported housing, safeguarding, welfare benefits and person-centred support
- Ability to manage risk, work independently, and prioritise a varied caseload
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills
- Willingness to work flexibly and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
