This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone passionate about helping vulnerable adults maintain their tenancies, develop independence, and improve their overall wellbeing.
The Role As a Supported Housing Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support to adults with a variety of needs, helping them develop independent living skills.
- Assist residents with tenancy sustainment, budgeting, understanding benefits, and accessing community services.
- Produce and maintain detailed support plans and risk assessments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Offer emotional and practical support, encouraging residents to build confidence and resilience.
- Work closely with internal teams and partner agencies to ensure clients receive holistic support.
- Promote a safe, clean and supportive living environment, reporting any repairs or safeguarding concerns.
- Has experience in supported housing, social care, homelessness services or a similar setting.
- Is empathetic, patient, and passionate about empowering others.
- Can manage a caseload, maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with vulnerable individuals.
- A secure permanent role with a supportive employer.
- Salary of £26,000–£27,000 depending on experience.
