Team Manager – Multi Agency Exploitation Hub (Children’s Services)
Location: Northamptonshire
Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella) (£35 PAYE)
Contract: Initially 3 months - potential to extend, Full-time – 37 hours per week

We are currently recruiting on behalf of Northamptonshire Children’s Trust for an experienced Team Manager to lead the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub within Children’s Services.
This is a key leadership role managing a specialist team focused on safeguarding young people who are at high risk of exploitation. The successful candidate will provide direct line management to six Advanced Practitioners who coordinate a multi-agency response for young people identified as vulnerable to exploitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub, providing direct supervision and support to Advanced Practitioners.
• Coordinate and oversee multi-agency responses for young people at risk of exploitation.
• Provide advice and guidance to locality teams regarding complex exploitation cases.
• Analyse risk, contribute to safety planning, and ensure appropriate safeguarding interventions.
• Chair and contribute to complex exploitation meetings.
• Support the development of community mapping and hotspot identification to identify patterns of exploitation.
• Ensure practice aligns with national and local safeguarding policies, including contextual safeguarding approaches.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification and 3 years perm experience within a local authority.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Team Manager within Children’s Social Care.
• Extensive experience working with children and young people at risk of criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, or trafficking.
• Strong understanding of contextual safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and complex case management.
• Experience working within multi-agency safeguarding environments.
• Sexual Exploitation training.
