Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join the Family Support Team (FST) within Wrexham County Borough Council's Children's Social Care Service.

About the Role As Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated team consisting of:
- 15 Social Workers
- 3 Social Care Assessors
- 3 Assistant Team Managers
- Care and Support Plans
- Providing robust support to children and families
- Managing Child Protection Plans
- Public Law Outline (PLO) processes
- Taking cases through to the first court hearing
- Ensuring children are safeguarded and supported to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Provide effective leadership, supervision and management oversight
- Support and develop staff to maintain high standards of practice
- Ensure assessments, plans and interventions are completed to a high quality
- Oversee safeguarding and child protection processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation, policies and procedures
- Drive performance and continuous service improvement
- Promote positive outcomes for children and families
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Care Wales registration
- Significant experience within Children's Social Care
- Previous Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and court proceedings
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills
