An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tenancy Enforcement Manager to join a respected housing provider, leading a specialist team responsible for complex anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and tenancy enforcement cases.
The role offers flexible hybrid working, with office attendance required as needed and no more than two days per week.
THE ROLE
As Tenancy Enforcement Manager, you will lead the delivery of a high-performing, customer-focused enforcement service, ensuring complex cases are managed robustly, sensitively and in accordance with housing legislation.

THE ROLE
As Tenancy Enforcement Manager, you will lead the delivery of a high-performing, customer-focused enforcement service, ensuring complex cases are managed robustly, sensitively and in accordance with housing legislation.
- Manage and support a team of Tenancy Enforcement Officers
- Assess and allocate new referrals based on complexity, risk and officer expertise
- Oversee complex and escalated ASB, tenancy breach and lease enforcement cases
- Lead possession and injunction proceedings through the civil court process
- Review case preparation, witness statements and supporting evidence
- Represent the organisation at court hearings, multi-agency meetings and case conferences
- Monitor team performance, caseloads, KPIs and customer satisfaction
- Manage safeguarding, welfare and community safety risks
- Resolve escalated Stage 2 complaints promptly and effectively
- Deliver training and guidance on enforcement procedures and legal requirements
- Work closely with the police, courts, domestic abuse services, social care and other partner agencies
- Use performance data and case trends to recommend service improvements
- Contribute to the review of tenancy enforcement and community safety policies
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant experience managing complex ASB and tenancy enforcement cases
- Previous team management or supervisory experience within social housing
- Strong knowledge of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014
- Extensive experience of possession and injunction proceedings
- In-depth knowledge of housing law, tenancy agreements and regulatory requirements
- Experience preparing and presenting cases through the civil court process
- Strong risk assessment, safeguarding and conflict-resolution skills
- The ability to manage challenging situations using a person-centred approach
- Experience monitoring performance, producing reports and improving services
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as car use is essential
- Willingness to undertake a Basic DBS check
- £30.75 per hour Umbrella
