Candidate Responsibilities: Tutor
As a Tutor , your primary duties will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in English and Maths tailored to the needs of young people aged 16-25.
- Facilitating both group sessions and one-to-one tutoring to enhance learning outcomes.
- Assessing student progress and providing tailored feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Developing lesson plans and resources that align with curriculum standards and individual learner needs.
- Supporting students to build confidence and achieve their educational goals.
- Monitoring attendance and maintaining accurate records of sessions and progress.
- Proven experience teaching English or Maths to young people aged 16-25.
- Experience conducting both group and one-to-one sessions.
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent (DTLLS) qualification.
- Possess a Subject Specialist qualification in numeracy or literacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners with diverse needs.
