Are you an enthusiastic and experienced educator passionate about making a difference? We are currently seeking two dedicated Tutors to join our outstanding Trailblazer project. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work with young people aged 16-25, providing vital support in English and Maths. Position: Tutor 
Employment Type: Temporary - 3 months - Part time
Location: Islington
Salary/Pay Rate: £27 per hour UMBRELLA

Candidate Responsibilities: Tutor
 As a Tutor , your primary duties will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in English and Maths tailored to the needs of young people aged 16-25.
• Facilitating both group sessions and one-to-one tutoring to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assessing student progress and providing tailored feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Developing lesson plans and resources that align with curriculum standards and individual learner needs.
• Supporting students to build confidence and achieve their educational goals.
• Monitoring attendance and maintaining accurate records of sessions and progress.

Candidate Requirements for the Tutor  Role

• Proven experience teaching English or Maths to young people aged 16-25.
• Experience conducting both group and one-to-one sessions.
• Hold a PGCE or equivalent (DTLLS) qualification.
• Possess a Subject Specialist qualification in numeracy or literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners with diverse needs.
