Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting compliance tests and MOT tests on the authority’s fleet of taxi vehicles
- Performing general servicing and repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and MOTs
- Ensuring all work complies with DVSA regulations and internal quality standards
- Supporting the team with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as required
- Working efficiently to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
To be successful in this Vehicle Technician role, you will need:
- Proven experience in vehicle repairs and MOT testing
- DVSA Certified (Class 4 & 7)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
