Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting compliance tests and MOT tests on the authority’s fleet of taxi vehicles
• Performing general servicing and repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
• Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and MOTs
• Ensuring all work complies with DVSA regulations and internal quality standards
• Supporting the team with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as required
• Working efficiently to complete tasks within allocated timeframes

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this Vehicle Technician role, you will need:

• Proven experience in vehicle repairs and MOT testing
• DVSA Certified (Class 4 & 7)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
