Position Overview
Caerphilly Council is seeking two skilled and qualified Window Fitters to join their property services team. The successful candidates will carry out the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows across a range of properties, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and contributes to the safety and comfort of residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of window systems to a high professional standard.
- Carry out repairs, replacements, and maintenance of existing window fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and council safety procedures.
- Work on both occupied and unoccupied properties across the borough.
- Conduct pre- and post-inspections of work as required.
- Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and internal departments.
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately.
Essential:
- Level 2 Qualification in joinery or fenestration.
- Proven experience in window fitting/maintenance within domestic or commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health & safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence
