Year 6 Teacher – Preston
Contract: Full-time | Long-term (with potential to go permanent)
Start Date: December 2025

We’re currently supporting a welcoming primary school in Preston who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team. The school has a warm, community-focused ethos and a strong commitment to helping every child succeed academically and personally.

The Role:

• Full class teaching responsibility within Year 6
  
  
• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
  
  
• Supporting pupils’ SATs preparation and progress
  
  
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
  
  
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  
  

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  
  
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 preferred)
  
  
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management
  
  
• A passion for supporting children’s academic and personal development
