Role Overview Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Young Persons Recovery Worker to join a dedicated team supporting young people in West Yorkshire. This full-time temporary role focuses on helping individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse progress through recovery and reintegration, while providing housing and accommodation support to ensure stability and safety.

Role Overview Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Young Persons Recovery Worker to join a dedicated team supporting young people in West Yorkshire. This full-time temporary role focuses on helping individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse progress through recovery and reintegration, while providing housing and accommodation support to ensure stability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of service users, developing and reviewing recovery plans
- Conduct triage and comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver shared interventions
- Facilitate access to treatment, community resources, and safe housing options
- Support service users in maintaining tenancy and navigating housing challenges
- Lead case management including risk and safeguarding assessments
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and attend reviews and meetings
- Support families and reduce the impact of substance misuse on family life
- Deliver psychosocial interventions in both group and one-to-one formats
- Experience in substance misuse, mental health, social care, or housing support
- Strong communication, assessment, and case management skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Familiarity with online case management systems is desirable
