You may have heard that we run an employee reward system which ties in with a charity initiative. If you aren't sure what we're referring to - check out my earlier blog for an outline.
Most recently, Oscar Morgan-Done was the lucky winner who scooped the first prize of £1250 towards a holiday or gift of his choice. He was all ready to book a romantic getaway to the Maldives, picturing himself and his partner lounging on a beautiful beach with cocktails in hand... Plans, however, changed somewhat when the news of a Mini-Morgan-Done were announced!
Needless to say, the trip to the Maldives was soon sidelined and the gift from Service Care Solutions went towards Oscar's baby's nursery.
Oscar worked hard throughout the year in order to get his fair share of chips into the draw - he thinks he managed to get around 100 in total. He says, "I think the idea of the 'chip challenge' is great - it motivates staff to go the extra mile in order to earn chips for themselves to be put into the prize draw and also gives them a chance to 'pay it forward' with the CSR aspect."
We think his prize money was very well spent, looking at his beautiful baby!
