About Paul

Firstly, how long have you been at Service Care?

I started at Service Care in May 2011 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

Give us a brief overview of your professional background...

Prior to working at Service Care Solutions, I worked with offenders prior to and upon their release from prisons in order to help to integrate back into the community, particularly specialising in helping them to source employment opportunities. Through this role, I built relationships with local training providers and employers to create opportunities, I supported my clients through counselling, mentoring and development work whilst working collaboratively with partner agencies, charities and local government to establish adequate support networks for my clients and. Before doing this I had a Number of roles across the Customer Service and Customer Complaints within the Public Sector and the Hospitality Industry.

If you weren't in recruitment, what would you be doing?

Why wouldn’t I be working for Service Care Solutions?

When I was younger I had a passion for music and would have loved to have been performing or working within the industry. However, I have to accept the likelihood of me taking this career path has now passed me by and I would likely have been working within a similar role elsewhere. That said, I love the recruitment industry and my last role involved helping people find work so I would hope to be doing something similar.

What's your favourite quote/piece of advice you've ever been given?

Always stay humble and kind.

When you're not in work, where can we find you?

I’m a huge Preston North End supporter and season ticket holder and also a fan of Nashville SC in the MLS. I’m a foodie and love eating things that aren’t normally healthy for me. I also relaxing with a nice IPA or two in the evening whilst binge watching TV. I’m a husband and father and love every minute I spend time with my amazing family. I also enjoy music and listening to podcasts.
