What does your role as a recruitment consultant involve?
I work as a recruitment consultant within the education sector, partnering with schools across Burnley, Blackburn, Accrington, and surrounding areas to support their staffing needs. I also work closely with candidates, helping them find suitable roles within schools, and supporting them throughout the placement process.
What does your day-to-day role look like?
My day-to-day role involves sourcing candidates and supporting them through compliance and onboarding, holding online meetings with candidates, and carrying out regular school visits. I focus on matching candidates to the right opportunities while working closely with schools to ensure their staffing needs are fully met.
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is supporting schools and helping people find the right opportunities. I find it really rewarding to build relationships with both schools and candidates and to know I’m making a positive impact. The role is fast-paced, and no two days are ever the same, which keeps it exciting and motivating.
