Contract: Permanent - Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 - Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

Job Description
Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of an established Chartered Accountancy firm in West Yorkshire who are offering a great working opportunity and are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team on a Permanent basis. The Accounts Assistant will have at least 3 yearsexperience and will be responsible for reviewing work compiled by the accounts team. They will also be responsible for liaising with and providing financial information to clients from the reports produced. The candidate will also be assisting the Head of Tax as and when required. The Accounts Assistant will also assist with the growth of the practice through management of current clients and acquisition of new clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with book-keeping and VAT preparation and review.
- Assist with accounts and tax return preparation and review.
- Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
- Ensuring financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
- Preparation and analysis of client's financial records, including data management, analysis, and consultation.
- Liaising with HMRC.
Candidate Criteria
- 3+ years experience.
- Working towards qualification and with solid practice experience.
- Proficient knowledge of personal Tax and VAT.
- Software knowledge, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS.
- Excellent communication skills and IT skills.
- Prioritise attention to detail and have a "can do" attitude.
