Service Care Solutions are currently looking for an experienced administrator to work within a substance misuse service in the Stafford area

Job Title: Administrator
Locations: Stafford, ST16 3AT
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Work Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
A new opportunity has become available for an Administrator to help with business support duties within a busy local authority on a temporary ongoing contract starting ASAP.
The post is currently working Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm at a substance misuse service which ensures that vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the phone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. This is your chance to work as part of a professional team dealing with a diverse customer base, including vulnerable and older adults. As part of the team your role will involve performing a variety of tasks to help with the smooth running of the service. This will include using systems (including Microsoft Excel) to create and maintain databases, documents and correspondence, attending and taking minutes at meetings, and maintaining filing and recording systems.
Essential Criteria:

  • A strong background in a clerical or admin-based role
  • Providing clear information and answering questions both on the phone and via email
  • Computer literate and has good customer service skills
  • Fast learner
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload as required
  • Dealing with queries
  • Monitoring and distributing emails
