Job Description
Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a dynamic East London borough council which is seeking a highly motivated Adult Care Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support in all aspects of adult social care law.
ROLE: Adult Care Lawyer
RATE: £60-£65
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing
LOCATION: East London - hybrid working
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Principal Adult Care Solicitor
- Provide general advice on and the conduct of routine and moderately complex cases involving adult social services issues
- The role will also offer the opportunity to undertake advocacy at the Court of Protection and County Court.
- Represent the company in all adult social care related proceedings
Specific Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years of PQE in Adult Care law
- Someone who has worked for an Adult Social Care legal team for a local authority
- Be able to conduct your caseload with minimum supervision and will be accustomed to working at pace in a busy team
