We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our dynamic team at the Urgent Treatment Centre. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare services for minor injuries and ailments, operating 365 days a year from 8 am to 9:00 pm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure effective multidisciplinary patient care.
- Act as an independent autonomous practitioner, providing specialist advice and contributing to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Possess and demonstrate extended skills in managing a wide range of healthcare problems, including minor illness and injury.
- Coordinate and deliver day-to-day management of the clinical team, acting as shift leader.
- Maintain effective communication channels within the UTC and across the wider healthcare network.
- Promote and maintain quality and standards of service in line with organisational and clinical governance requirements.
- Participate in clinical audit and contribute to service development.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Supervise and maintain high standards of professional care in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Provide a supportive environment for staff, including clinical supervision and personal development planning.
- Assist in shaping and developing a nurse-led service that meets the needs of service users.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures.
- Delegate responsibility where appropriate and encourage a culture of flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- NMC registration - RN Adult/Paeds/AHP
- Educated to Degree/Diploma level/Paramedic practitioner
- Clinical Examination Skills (Level 7)
- Mentorship/ENB 998 Qualification
Experience:
- Leadership experience
- 6 months UK experience in A&E, Walk-in Centre, or Urgent Care Centre
- Experience of change management
Additional Criteria:
- Ability to travel independently across the Trust
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts
- Proficiency in moving and handling
