A Client within the Private sector based in Southwark is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join their Bus Safety team as soon as possible.

This is an ongoing contract on full time / Hybrid basis from their Southwark office and the ideal candidate will have strong transport/ fleet based operations experience.

The purpose of the role is to support in overseeing the technology installations and operations of a fleet of public buses in London.

The hiring manager is looking for an experienced assistant project manager who is going to work collaboratively with bus operator. This project focuses on putting technology on the buses which are owned by different bus operations. You would be keeping track of various vehicles, the organisation manage a large number of buses so they are looking for someone who is meticulous in detail and is good at record keeping.

Experience working with bus operators is preferable. They have a very collaborative relationship with the bus operators and it's very important to keep operators on their side. Good stakeholder management is crucial for this role as you would be building relationships. You would be required to go on site and work collaboratively with the bus operators.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £300 - £320 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 based on experience.
