Our client based in Bedfordshire is currently recruiting for a Class 2F Building Control Inspector to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, permanent role offering hybrid working and a salary range of £50,085 to £54,047.

The purpose of the role is to manage a range of building control duties to deal with varied projects in urban and rural locations around the Council area.

Responsibilities:

• This role will work closely with colleagues, team members, our regulatory partners and our applicants and deals with regulatory compliance, enforcement, and all aspects of Building Regulations.
• Evaluate applications and fees
• Carry out plan checking
• Site inspections
• Provide special Building Regulatory advice and investigate and enforce compliance.

Requirements:

The right candidate will have a degree (or equivalent qualification and experience) in Building Control Surveying and be eligible for BSR registration as a Class 2 building inspector. You will have strong communication skills and can show experience and evidence of working on a range of projects.
