Building Manager

Job Description

Our client, a local authority based in Shefford, Bedfordshire are looking for a Building Manager to join their team. This is on a temporary ongoing contract basis.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Plan, Manager and Deliver Building Services projects

  • The role will have an focus on health and safety compliance for facilities and operations.

  • Conduct inspections, advise on risk management and assessment process, and safety audits of premises, plant, and equipment according to their risk level, to identify any issues so that these can be addressed and resolved to minimise risks.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

A degree/HND/NEBOSH or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.

Previous experience of Building Services/FM required.
