Buildings Project Manager - Redbridge -

Job Description

Do you have the ability to plan, manage and monitor projects alongside programme of works including responsive repairs and cyclical maintenance of housing stock?

If this is you we have a client within the Public Sector based in East London who is currently recruiting for a Buildings Project Manager to join their Building Services & Maintenance team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a street scene environment.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to lead projects and implement programmes of work to meet objectives of the councils housing asset management strategy

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Financial Control
  • Key Reporting and Performance Information
  • Manage multi-disciplinary team including in-hose and consultants


The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a relevant professional qualification Property or construction related degree, professional qualification or substantial demonstrable experience in construction related project management.

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

  • Creative and innovative solutions to problems
  • Worked within a generic structure
  • Budget management skills


The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £32-£33 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
