We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker on behalf of our client located in Islington. Our client is committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and estate management, and they are looking for someone who shares their commitment to excellence.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and estate duties to ensure the upkeep and smooth operation of the client's premises. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily cleaning tasks in common areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of outdoor areas, such as walkways and gardens.
  • Conducting routine inspections and minor repairs of facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Managing waste and recycling processes efficiently.
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events or activities held on the premises.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Liaising with residents and responding to their queries or concerns in a professional manner.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar caretaking or cleaning role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
  • Basic maintenance and repair skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
