Children's Placement Officer

Job Description

Children's Placement Officer needed with Bracknell Forest Council

Start Date- ASAP

Location - Bracknell

Duration - initially 6 months

Hours per week - 37 hours per week, or 18.5 hours per week

Salary - £12.25 ltd an hour

Description:

  • To work as a member of the Access to Resources Team, you will coordinate and manage all placement requests for Looked After Children including those with multiple and complex needs
  • You will ensure that placement sourcing is undertaken on the basis that it has been appropriately approved, meets the child's needs and expected outcomes, is cost effective and is completed in a timely manner
  • You will ensure Individual Placement Agreements are correctly populated and update in line with care reviews, provide out of borough notifications and ensure effective record keeping of placements

What is required?

  • Educated to GCSE Level A-C in English and Maths
  • Experience within a similar role
