This respected regional firm is now seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its busy and expanding property department. ROLE:                  Commercial Property Paralegal
LOCATION:          Chelmsford, Essex
SALARY:              £25,000 to £30,000 DOE and interview performance

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-focused paralegal with experience in commercial property matters. You will be supporting senior solicitors and partners on a broad caseload, including:
 
  • Drafting and preparing leases, licences, and contract documentation
  • Managing files for sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold commercial property
  • Conducting legal research, title investigations and preparing reports
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and third parties
  • Assisting with post-completion work including SDLT returns and Land Registry applications

About You

  • A relevant legal qualification (LPC / LLM / LLB) is essential
  • At least 6-12 months of relevant experience in commercial property (within private practice or in-house legal team)
  • A strong academic background, ideally with a completed law degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
