ROLE: Commercial Property Paralegal
LOCATION: Chelmsford, Essex
SALARY: £25,000 to £30,000 DOE and interview performance
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-focused paralegal with experience in commercial property matters. You will be supporting senior solicitors and partners on a broad caseload, including:
- Drafting and preparing leases, licences, and contract documentation
- Managing files for sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold commercial property
- Conducting legal research, title investigations and preparing reports
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and third parties
- Assisting with post-completion work including SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
About You
- A relevant legal qualification (LPC / LLM / LLB) is essential
- At least 6-12 months of relevant experience in commercial property (within private practice or in-house legal team)
- A strong academic background, ideally with a completed law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude
- Strong organisational and time management skills
