Commissioning Manager needed with South Gloucestershire Council
Start Date- ASAP
Location - Yate
Duration - Initially 5 months
Hours per week - 37 hours a week
Salary - £305 ltd a day
Description:
- This role will be hybrid working - occasional time in the office, including the first few days of induction
- To lead the home care contracts and commissioning team within the adults commissioning service
- You will manage the day-to-day activity within the team and will oversee the implementation of new systems and services in line with the commissioning strategy. The strategy includes embedding the new external reablement service, developing services in line with the Better Care Fund and MSIF plans, and implementing PAMMS for quality assurance
What is required?
- Experience and knowledge of commissioning and contracting for home care services (aka dom care) is essential
- Line management experience is essential
- Relevant professional or equivalent degree level qualification
- Experience of developing commissioning strategy
