Pay Rate: £27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)
Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Community Psychiatric Nurse on behalf of an NHS Trust based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mental health professional to join a dedicated community mental health team supporting adults and older adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist mental health care to adults and older adults in the community
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred care plans
- Deliver psychosocial interventions tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies
- Monitor and manage risk, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with NHS standards
- Current professional registration as a:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)
- Occupational Therapist (HCPC)
- Experience working in community mental health services for adults and older adults with severe or significant mental illness
- Specialist knowledge of person-centred care and its practical application
- Understanding of psychosocial interventions and their appropriate use
- Awareness of the mental health needs of adults and how these impact care planning and delivery
