Make a Difference in Camden – Lead the Response to Crime and Antisocial Behaviour We’re currently recruiting on behalf of Camden Council for a dynamic and experienced Community Safety Specialist. This is a key temporary post, ideal for professionals passionate about safer communities and public protection.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk assessments and deliver targeted interventions in response to crime and antisocial behaviour
  • Manage and deploy resources effectively based on community reports and local intelligence
  • Coordinate multi-agency partnerships, ensuring effective and timely joint responses
  • Provide strategic engagement and communication across council services, partners, and stakeholders
Stakeholders You'll Engage With:
  • Cabinet Members and Ward Councillors
  • Internal Camden Council departments and services
  • Community Safety Partnership Board
  • Camden Safeguarding Children & Adults Boards
  • Greater London Authority, MOPAC, and the Home Office
  • Criminal and Civil Justice system partners
What We’re Looking For: You’ll need to be a confident, experienced professional with a strong background in:
  • Community safety or public protection
  • Strategic partnership coordination
  • Safeguarding and crime reduction
  • Risk assessment and operational decision-making
  • Engagement with senior-level stakeholders
