Service Care Solutions are working with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to recruit an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to support the CAMHS Eating Disorders team on a LOCUM basis.

Job Purpose: Consultant Psychiatrist
Salary: Negotiable + £250 Welcome Bonus
Location: OX4 3LX
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Contract: 37.5 hours per week | Part time available

Clinical Responsibilities:

• To develop an active leadership role in the multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), in conjunction with the team's manager and senior clinical staff.
• To provide diagnosis, management and treatment of children, adolescents and families from Oxfordshire who have an eating disorder (or suspected eating disorder) and require consultant psychiatric intervention.
• To work in partnership with the multidisciplinary teams for the clinical management of patients in relation to the care programme approach (CPA). This will include risk management, the assessment of the needs of carers, and the development of services to meet the needs of patients and families for which the teams are responsible.

• Previous experience working with Adults
• Section 12 Approval
• Approved Clinician Status
