Rate - £26.13 - £30.00

To engage with peers and other key contacts at regional Trusts including members of the NWL ICS Collaborative.

Develop an excellent relationship with all internal and external stakeholders, and to Board Level of potential and/or incumbent suppliers. Where appropriate lead project teams to ensure a clear focus on procuring goods and/or services as required by local, regional and National Directives.

Where required, provide comprehensive, detailed and rationale briefing papers for presentation to Director and Board Level for consideration where high risk, high value services will impact effective delivery to the Trust.

Working with Contract/Sourcing Managers develop a high quality, effective and client focused procurement service to all clinics, wards and departments of the organisation, irrespective of whether the functions are carried out centrally or devolved to other departments or contracted out to third parties.

Liaise regularly with Heads of Divisions, Lead Clinicians of the Trust to consult, formulate, agree and implement a schedule of activities covering all contractual aspects of procurement. This will include selection and pre-selection criteria, advice on specification writing, tendering, evaluation and supplier relationship management (post contract award) with regards to all goods and services procured by the Trust.

To lead on discussions and agreements regarding highly complex and sensitive contractual issues with Trust's staff and suppliers and conduct/conclude negotiations on behalf of the Trust.

To act on behalf of HoP as lead in providing appropriate procurement information regarding FOI's received into the Trust in a timely manner.

To facilitate Quarterly contract review meetings for high value/high risk contracts being held at a predetermined frequency. Templates to be developed and used to ensure key format is followed by all participants. Develop a robust feedback process to maintain continuous improvement process is in place.
