Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our clients Education Catering team in Cardiff. This role focuses on providing nutritious and delicious meals for school children. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in an educational environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with the school's menu plan.
• Ensure all meals are prepared to high standards of quality and hygiene.
• Manage food supplies and storage areas, ensuring stock levels are maintained and rotated appropriately.
• Adhere to dietary requirements and allergy restrictions as specified.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and school personnel.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably within an educational or large-scale catering environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the kitchen and school environment.
