We are currently recruiting an experienced and qualified Educational Psychologist to join Bracknell Forest Borough Council on an interim basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting children and young people across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver statutory psychological assessments for Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments
- Engage in effective person-centred planning with children, families, and educational settings
- Clearly articulate strengths, needs, and appropriate provisions in line with statutory requirements
- Use provided templates to complete high-quality, professional reports
- Ensure all assessments are completed within statutory timescales
- Quality assure own work to maintain high standards of clarity, accuracy, and compliance
- HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist
- Proven experience in carrying out statutory assessments for EHCPs
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write specific, high-quality reports
- Able to work independently and manage own caseload effectively
- Available to start promptly and commit to timely completion of assessments
- Competitive rate of £70 per hour (Ltd) – PAYE options also available
- Flexible working with potential for remote elements where appropriate
- Work within a well-organised and supportive local authority team
- Make a direct impact in shaping the support provided to young people in Bracknell Forest
- £750 referral fee bonus for any health care professional you refer who we place in to work on a 3-month contract.
