Role Overview:
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems across residential and commercial properties in West London. This is a mobile role that requires flexibility and the ability to work independently at multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in domestic and commercial settings
- Carry out fixed wire testing, safety inspections, fault finding, and remedial works
- Complete electrical certification and relevant documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with health & safety policies, COSHH regulations, and PPE requirements
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to a high standard
- Accurately report daily work activities electronically or in written format
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns following company procedures
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical work
- Strong understanding of electrical testing, maintenance, and installations up to 230v
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Multi-trade experience (basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, mould treatment)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
- This is a mobile role – a company vehicle will be provided
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
