Our client, a local authority based in Chichester are looking for an Estates Surveyor to join their team. This is on an ongoing contract basis.
The main purpose of the role is to support and assist the professional Estates team in the delivery of a comprehensive and cost effective property management service, implementing the Council's policies, strategies, and asset management reviews, to assist with the delivery of services - all against a background of maximising efficiencies and generating revenue income from our varied asset base.
The role will include the negotiation of lease and licence agreements, rent reviews, easements and wayleaves, the management of rent accounts and service charges and the disposal of assets surplus to operational requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;
Relevant professional qualification
Candidates will have previous experience of Estates Surveying within a local authority
