Family Support Worker

Job Description

Family Support Worker required in Barnsley to join the Early Start and Families service for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with families in the area and provide direct work to make a positive impact!

This role is:

* Initial 3 months

* Full time - 37 hours per week

* Based at Family Centre

The role involves planning, facilitation and delivery of tailored family support interventions to meet the diverse needs of families and children aged 0-25 years, through collaborative and integrated working across a network of family centres.

We are looking for candidates with experience engaging and supporting targeted families with children aged 0-25 years through targeted outreach/home visiting and Family support interventions as identified though the Early Help Assessment and when appropriate taking the role of lead practitioner in the Early Help Assessment delivering interventions and supporting interventions.
