Children and Family Worker Needed With West Sussex County Council

Job Description

This company is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Child & Family Worker to join their team at Bridge House, Worthing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a Social Worker in transporting and attending all home visits and meetings away from the office. This is a bespoke role with a focus on supporting the needs of the Social Worker.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting and attending all home visits and meetings away from the office
  • Providing support to a Social Worker
  • Assisting in the management of caseloads
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to provide a high-quality service

Requirements

  • UK driving license and own car
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits

This is a graded role with a hourly rate of £14.17. The role is for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will also benefit from flexible working hours and the opportunity to attend transformational and other leadership events.
