Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of an international distribution company based in Chessington for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will work in a collaborative and close-knit team, and get hands-on experience in the full management accounts process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the month-end financial reporting process – from dashboards and forecasts to full Management Accounts.
  • Assisting with monthly stock reports and maintaining the fixed assets register.
  • Carrying out daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
  • Setting up new projects and tracking costs and revenues
  • Being the key finance contact for budget holders.
  • Supporting the external audit process by keeping accurate records and data.
  • Getting involved in everything from nominal journals to credit card statements and beyond.
Candidate Criteria
  • 2+ years of finance experience in a busy department
  • Confident with Excel and Sage systems
  • Analytica, proactive and customer-focused with a keen eye for detail
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
