Job Description
A Local Authority based in Somerset is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team on an initial 6-month basis. The post holder will Provide expertise and strong management to drive performance and to commission and/or deliver the Council's priorities and meet service targets, as a member of the Council's Senior Management Group. They will also Advise Members and Directors in respect of operational planning and commissioning, policy matters and service delivery issues and engage with partners in the promotion, communication, and delivery of services.

Ideal Candidate
- Professional CCAB qualification
- Local Authority finance background essential
- Experience of working with directors with complex issues and strategic direction
- Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
