Forensic mental health support worker - Dewsbury

Job Description

Forensic Mental Healthcare Assistants are required immediately in Dewsbury and the surrounding area with flexible, regular shifts in a private service.

The positions involves offering one-to-one support in contributing to the on-going treatment and recovery of patients. It is ideal that the successful candidate will have at least 12 months recent experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a mental health environment.

Pay rates range between £12 ltd per hour and £17 ltd per hour.

The service is a high dependency rehabilitation service situated in a community location in West Yorkshire. The hospital provides specialist inpatient care for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness.

It also provide a specialist neurocognitive care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour, with a focus on Huntington's disease and dementia.

This is an excellent opportunity for Forensic Mental Healthcare Assistants looking for work either to supplement their current job or as an opportunity for flexible part-time/full-time employment around other commitments.
