Service Information
The Nursing Home provides nursing care and support for up to 37 residents. Offering quality long-term and respite care for people with nursing needs and palliative care, services are delivered by a highly skilled team of nurses and care assistants who provide support 24-hours a day.
As a Mental Healthcare Assistant, you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals.
You will work under the supervision of a qualified nurse and will need to have good communication skills, excellent team working skills, be highly self-motivated with a flexible approach, and have some appreciation of mental health conditions.
Person Specification
The successful applicant must have:
- Demonstrable Knowledge and experience working within Mental Health, Dementia, End of Life/Palliative Care.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and commit to working hours mentioned above.
